Controlled corrosion.

Hand-picked knives, stripped back to bare titanium and re-coloured by electric current. One piece at a time, in Lausanne.

Who we are

At Oxidizer Customs, we love knives, titanium, and useful EDC gear.

We handpick pieces we like and give them our own look — one piece at a time, in our workshop.

Every item gets our own little twist, so no two are exactly the same. They’re not necessarily rare — just carefully chosen, fine-tuned, and made a bit more special than the one you’d get straight out of the box.

We’re not here just to sell knives and gear. We want to meet people who are just as crazy about knives and EDC as we are, share ideas, and build a community around the things we love, need and use every single day.

So if you’re into knives, EDC, and cool gear — welcome. You’re among friends.

The battle badge

Join the crew and this goes on your chain: steel, the mark etched in, your own member number stamped deep. Wear it like you earned it.

Philosophy

Oxidation usually means wear, age and decay. On titanium it means colour. A measured current grows an oxide skin thinner than a soap bubble, and that skin has no colour of its own. It bends the light, and the light does the rest.

The process is only half of it. Oxidizer Customs is a family workshop built on one idea: a good knife can become a personal one. We start with pieces we genuinely like, a Spyderco, a Microtech, a McNees, whatever earns a place on the bench, and give each one our own interpretation. Chosen by hand, worked by hand, anodized one at a time.

We’re not chasing perfect. We’re chasing yours. The small variations, the slips, the marks the process leaves behind stay where they fall. They are the character, and they are why no two pieces match.

We make individual pieces.

And we’re not collecting customers. We’re looking for people who care about good knives, titanium, everyday carry and the craft behind them, and who want to carry something nobody else has.

It started with a love for the things we carry every day. We’re building it the same way: one piece, one person, one friendship at a time.

How a piece
is made.

  1. 01

    Strip

The knife is taken apart and the old finish goes back to bare titanium.

  2. 02

    Texture

Blasted, stonewashed or left scarred. The surface decides how the colour will read.

  3. 03

    Current

Into the bath, voltage dialled in. The oxide grows and the colour follows it.

  4. 04

    Ready

Reassembled, checked, and on the shelf, waiting for the one person it fits.
